We have an active ‘Friends of the School’ consisting of a small group of parental volunteers. We host termly events which have recently included children’s discos, Christmas / Summer Fayres, Easter competitions and much more.
We are always on the look out for new volunteers; so if you feel you could spare a few hours to help organise and get involved in school fundraising events, please visit the school office for further information.
The money raised at Friends of the School events is always reinvested in school to provide a range of excellent equipment and resources for the benefit of all children in the school.
Fundraising in School
As a school we are committed to supporting charities and other good causes. We regularly take part in national events such as Comic Relief Red Nose Day, Children in Need and the British Legion Poppy Appeal. We also support our International Partner School Great Commission Academy in Ghana, West Africa.
At Harvest time we have supported local organisations such as Parkland Residential Home and The County Durham Cheshire Home in Crook by providing them with our food donations.
